I'm told that the Movie Theater Messiah has his shorts bunched up because his public information is being scrutinized. This is what he had to say:
"Good Afternoon to everyone. I've been busy working and I continue seeking assistance from people who may be able to help us all save the Meserole. On an different note: Rarely if ever, someone might do a "name search" on my Profession. I'm very much a quiet person who stays to myself or with a few people. But lo and behold, I discovered someone had done a search for me on a social site. But what is most interesting is it was someone from Greenpoint. What a coincidence right? A heads up. There might be those who wish to besmirch my character with posting half truths or edited information to tarnish my name as something I am NOT. This action is called Defamation of Character and Slander. And if it continues to be spread around, I will speak with my attorney and take every measure for Civil Action. Just a thought..."
John, Greenpoint's answer to John Gibbons isn't the legal expert as he claims. He has zero knowledge of legal terms or what they mean. If he did, he'd know that slander is
the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a
person's reputation. I haven't heard anyone making any false statements about him in
public. If he was halfway intelligent, he'd know that libel is the correct term. Libel is a published false
statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written
defamation. He could bark all he wants because, if he really wants to go
to court, he has to prove that anything written and published about him is demonstrably and unequivocally false. He
can't because everything written about him is in the public record,
including his social media comments. He'd also know that in a libel lawsuit, the burden of proof for a defamation case rests on the plaintiff. HE has to prove that the statements are false, not whoever published the information. If one is quoting John verbatim, with verifiable references documenting his own comments, there's no merit to claims of libel. The only genuine examples of half truths are every comment that Johnny Boy has posted in in his social media group. Anyone with half a brain should be able to to analyze his comments and see that he's not on the level. Anyone, that is, who isn't a gullible, Kool Aid drinking follower who believes everything the Movie Theater Messiah says.
Now, on to his whining that somebody searched a "social site" for him. So what? Reading someone's LinkedIn profile or search for information about them is not a crime or invasion of one's privacy by any legal definition. Anything in the public record is fair game. If this poor man's Melvin Belli is a "private person who stays to myself or with a few people", why does he have a LinkedIn profile which is specifically available to anyone; or, why would he have a social media account (several on Facebook, as a matter of fact) on which he shares intimate details about himself, family problems, etc? Anything posted there is likewise freely available to just about everyone who cares to search for it. If you don't want people looking you up, stay away from social media and the internet.
One of his followers posted this steaming pile of pure nonsense:
"because he’s an artist...invasive is just that invasive. The way you just challenged him with a paranoia question shows your character."
Oh, now you can't look at someone's publicly available information "because he's an artist". What a completely illogical and ridiculous reason. And, nobody is allowed to challenge him on any legitimate issue for that reason. Yes, John is an artist. He has ample experience working with bovine excreta as art medium of choice. What this poster doesn't, or refuse to, comprehend is that artists are not entitled to special treatment because of their profession.
John routinely relies on his regular defensive mechanism of gaslighting his critics by implying that the problem is them. Today is no different. Same song, different day. What would you expect from a one-trick pony?
